The Munich Breweries

Check out the history of some of the Munich breweries from this page, possibly the best beer in the world, brewed to very high standards. The information is kindly supplied by the individual Munich breweries. Each Brewery has it's own " Bier Logo or Beer motiv" See a selection below. There are other breweries in Munich, but none seemed to have an English Brewery history. The beer produced for the Oktoberfest is a special brew and is stronger than normal.

Bavaria has about 800 breweries and some of the best known Munich breweries are listed here. The other breweries in Munich are Paulaner Brauerei and Hofbräu. All beers are still produced to the German beer purity law (Reinheitsgebot )
