The Munich Oktoberfest is the largest "Volks" festival in the world. The festival runs from the 20th of September and finishes on the first Sunday in October, which the 5th in 2008. Visitors to Munich should book very early their hotels, as this fill up very quickly. It seems that as of 12th March 2008, most of the beer tents are fully booked.
