The Munich City Guide was off line for 6 days due to the web server at the hosting company being hacked. We take pride in offering a guide to Munich for English speaking visitors and depend on the services provided by a hosting company. Over the last 20 years the Guide has been operating this has happened a few times, mainly due to technical problems. Hacking is the latest challenge facing website owners and service providers. Our site was not hacked and regular checks are made to prevent any malware being distributed.
Were does the title come from?

The words ” Normal Service will be resumed as soon as possible ” are part of British television history. There is an article about the very first video recorder used by the BBC, and when this stopped working for any reason, then the message ” Normal Service will be resumed as soon as possible” was displayed.
