Daily Telegraph January 30th, 2008. At a medical conference in London, quoted from the article.

Dr. Hugh Montgomery, the director of the Institute for Human Health and Performance at the University College London said,
"There is no greater threat to human health than climate change. For those of us working as doctors, its imminent threat dwarfs any survival gains due to our daily health care activity."

European Business School in London

The former chief executive of BP, Lord Browne of Madingley has called for the creation of an international climate agency with power to force national governments to tackle carbon emissions. at the recent European Business School in London, "As a global first mover on climate change targets, the EU has the credibility to be a leader in international negotiations... this is critical. I believe addressing climate change will be impossible without a new international climate change agency: an organisation with the power to lay down and enforce terms on national governments".

Climate Change

70% of the people alive today, will be alive in 2050. What you do today, will effect you in the next few years. Or are we like smokers, we know it will almost certainly kill us in a  most unpleasant way, but we enjoy it so much, we cannot stop. Same as using fossil fuels, we just cannot control our dependence. Maybe it's the same as the tobacco industry, too many lobbyists and vested interests. Ask your elected representative where they stand on controlling CO2 emissions and reducing oil/coal consumption, you may  be surprise and disappointed with their reply. See the Climate Change Ideas Blog

Smoking has been banned in restaurants and public places in many countries, but it took governments to make laws, and enforce them. We need global laws to stop pollution from changing our climate. This should be a top priority for the United Nations and all it's members.

No veto's allowed, there is always one country that puts itself before the world, this is too important, we all live or we all die together.

I will be adding a list of addresses and emails soon, so you can contact the UN and your local governments to demand action. More Climate Change information will be added here shortly.
